Patrick Harding

Jill Phillips

Sari Heller Ratican’s global privacy and data protection practice focuses on providing practical advice tailored to each client’s unique needs. Her advice reflects her extensive in-house experience as the first Chief Privacy Officer for Amgen, Inc., the world’s largest biotechnology company, where she built and implemented the company’s global privacy program across more than 75 countries. In addition to implementing Amgen’s privacy program globally, Sari also was instrumental in strategically implementing privacy and data protection considerations and controls throughout the company’s matrixed environment including its commercial, clinical, customer experience, and digital health functions.

Sari is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (EU and US) and has been actively involved in several global privacy and data protection organizations including the International Association of Privacy Professionals, the International Pharmaceutical Privacy Consortium, and the International Medical Device Privacy Consortium.

Jackson Shaw

Jackson began his identity management career as an early employee at Toronto-based Zoomit Corp., the pioneer in the development of meta-directory products who Microsoft acquired in 1999. While at Microsoft, he was responsible for product planning and marketing around Microsoft’s identity & access management products including Active Directory and Microsoft Identity Manager. Jackson has held various senior product management and marketing roles since Microsoft including at Vintela, Quest Software, Dell, One Identity, and Forcepoint. He studied computer science at the University of Ottawa, Canada.

Milan Patel

Senior Product Manager, IBM

Milan Patel is a senior product manager at IBM focused on delivering client value enabled by cloud, security, and emerging technologies. He is currently focused on IBM Security Verify, a cloud-native Identity as a Service to help organizations protect and modernize interactions with workforce and consumer identities. He has spent 10+ years delivering enterprise capabilities within IBM Cloud and IBM Security.

Mike Kiser

Strategy and Standards, Office of the CTO, Sailpoint

Mike Kiser has held a panoply of industry positions over the past 20 years—from Security Strategist to Security Analyst to Security Architect. He has designed, directed, and advised on large-scale security deployments for a global clientele. He is currently in a long-term relationship with fine haberdashery, is a chronic chronoptimist, and delights in needlessly convoluted verbiage. He has been a speaker on topics ranging from identity governance to security analytics, network security, ethics in technology, and various related privacy issues, and is the co-host of a podcast illuminating all things identity. He warmly embraces the notion that security is more of a state of mind than a destination.

A serial entrepreneur, Andresen founded ForgeRock in 2010 and as their CEO, grew the company from a startup to an industry leader with 100% year-over-year growth, while securing over $230 million top-tier venture funding. ForgeRock has been named as a global leader in digital identity by Gartner, Forrester Research and KuppingerCole. When he’s not dreaming up the next big thing in identity, Lasse is a passionate keyboard player and cyclist, and has toured countries around the world.

 

Andrew Nash

Former Managing Vice President of Identity Services; Capital One

Andrew Nash is the former Managing Vice President of Identity Services at Capital One. He joined Capital One in 2018, following the company’s acquisition of Confyrm—a startup focused on developing leading edge identity fraud detection and alerting systems, including identity validation and contraindication mechanisms. Prior to founding Confyrm, Andrew developed consumer identity vetting and verified information systems as CTO for Trulioo. In this role, he investigated and developed alternative identity validation services for online establishment of real world identities. Formerly, Andrew was Director of Identity Services at Google, operating the largest consumer identity provider in the world at that time, managing over billion consumer and enterprise identities. As Senior Director of Consumer Identity at PayPal, he managed over 350 million identities validated for use in financial services, complying with US Banking, AML and anti- terrorist funding requirements. As Director of Technologies at RSA Security, Andrew worked on a wide range of identity and security systems. A leader in PKI and Web-Services markets, he has co-authored numerous Web Services security specifications and is author of a book on Public Key Infrastructure. Andrew was a founding board member at the OpenID Foundation, the Open Identity eXchange (OIX) and the Information Card Foundation. In 2006, he was recognized by InfoWorld as one of the “Top 25 Most Influential CTOs”. Andrew is a graduate of the University of Sydney and holds a M.S. degree in software engineering.

Dr. Ann Cavoukian

Executive Director of the Global Privacy & Security by Design Centre

Dr. Ann Cavoukian is recognized as one of the world’s leading privacy experts. Dr. Cavoukian served an unprecedented three terms as the Information & Privacy Commissioner of Ontario, Canada. There she created Privacy by Design, a framework that seeks to proactively embed privacy into the design specifications of information technologies, networked infrastructure and business practices, thereby achieving the strongest protection possible. In 2010, International Privacy Regulators unanimously passed a Resolution recognizing Privacy by Design as an International Standard. Since then, PbD has been translated into 40 languages! In 2018, PbD was included in a sweeping new law in the EU: the General Data Protection Regulation.

Dr. Cavoukian is now the Executive Director of the Global Privacy & Security by Design Centre. She is also a Senior Fellow of the Ted Rogers Leadership Centre at Ryerson University, and a Faculty Fellow of the Center for Law, Science & Innovation at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.

  • Cavoukian is the author of two books, “The Privacy Payoff: How Successful Businesses Build Customer Trust” with Tyler Hamilton, and “Who Knows: Safeguarding Your Privacy in a Networked World” with Don Tapscott. She has received numerous awards recognizing her leadership in privacy, including being named as one of the Top 25 Women of Influence in Canada, named as one of the Top 10 Women in Data Security and Privacy, andnamed as one of the ‘Power 50’ by Canadian Business. She was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal by the Governor General of Canada for her outstanding work on creating Privacy by Design and taking it global (May, 2017), named as one of the 50 Most Impactful Smart Cities Leaders (November, 2017), named among the Top Women in Tech (December, 2017), was awarded the Toastmasters Communication and Leadership Award (April, 2018), recognized among the Top 100 Identity Influencers (February, 2019), and most recently, she was named among the Top 18 Global AI Influencers within the AI & Tech Space (February, 2019), was awarded the 2020 Canadian Women in Cybersecurity Lifetime Achievement Award In Recognition of Your Outstanding Contributions to Cybersecurity and Privacy in Ontario (March 2020).

J Schumacher

Senior Manager, American Honda Motor Co.

J is the department lead for Enterprise Architecture, IAM, and Network Engineering. J has over 20 years of experience in leading and managing SAP, data analytics, and infrastructure teams in retail architecture, and automotive R&D. Joining Honda in 2012, he is currently focused on transforming cybersecurity and leading the adoption of zero-trust principles and technologies across Honda North America region.

Pete Lindstrom

Principal Consulting Analyst, TechVision Research

Pete Lindstrom is a cyber strategist, innovator, and economist with Spire Security. He has extensive expertise in cybersecurity and is best known as an authority in strategic cybersecurity areas such as strategic cybersecurity metrics, cyber risk quantification, and measuring efficiency and effectiveness. He leverages these skills to advise enterprises on methods and approaches to optimize their cybersecurity programs and architectures.

Throughout his career, Pete has performed hundreds of audits and assessments of cybersecurity programs as well as evaluations, feasibility studies, and market analyses of numerous cybersecurity solutions, including early studies on control frameworks for Web 2.0, virtualization, and cloud security. He developed and works with the Four Disciplines of Security Management as a cybersecurity reference program to simplify the complexities of cybersecurity into building blocks that can be applied to all environments.

 Pete has over 25 years of industry experience as an IT auditor, IT security operations manager, and cybersecurity industry analyst. He served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps and received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Notre Dame and is a Certified Information Systems Security Practitioner (CISSP).

Jeff Margolies

Chief Strategy Officer, Saviynt

 Jeff Margolies is the Chief Strategy Officer of Saviynt where he leads strategy, technology partnerships, and corporate development. As a member of the executive team, Jeff works closely with customers, partners, and across the organization to develop a vision and long-term roadmap for Saviynt. He leads several strategic initiatives to drive growth and deliver on the vision. Prior to joining Saviynt, Jeff spent over 25 years in the security and Identity industry, as part of the security leadership teams of both Accenture and Deloitte and leading strategy, partnerships, and corporate development for Mandiant. Jeff has a Bachelor’s degree in Optical Engineering from the University of Rochester, and a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from UC Berkeley. 

Paul Mezzera

VP of Product and Market Strategy, Saviynt

Paul is VP of product and market strategy at Saviynt and has 20+ years of experience in IAM. This includes both architecting and implementing IAM solutions along with leading a global team for delivering and supporting IAM shared services. He has worked in both the financial and healthcare industries.  Most recently Paul was an industry analyst at Gartner in the technical professionals team, covering IGA, PAM and customer IAM. He authored research on solution comparisons of IGA and CIAM solutions in addition to writing the first paper on cloud entitlement management (CIEM).

Javed Shah

VP of Product Management, 1Kosmos

Javed has spent his twenty-year career designing and building identity and access management solutions. He has led large customer-facing pre-sales teams, and led product management for the ForgeRock Identity Platform and the ForgeRock Identity Cloud. Javed has an MBA from UC Berkeley.

John Pritchard

Chief Product Officer, Radiant Logic

John is Chief Product Officer at Radiant Logic, responsible for the company’s global product vision and leading engineering, product and design. John joined Radiant Logic from Okta, where he served as Vice President of Product Management for Okta’s Developer and Partner Ecosystem. His background is in new product development of fault-tolerant distributed SaaS systems and brings more than 25 years of product and engineering experience from Adobe, IBM, and Lockheed-Martin. 

John holds a B.S in Information Systems from American University, an M.S. in Telecommunications from George Washington University, an MBA from Duke University, and is currently completing his Ph.D. at the University of Denver with a research focus on Artificial Intelligence. Andrew Cameron

Andrew Cameron is a Technical Fellow for Identity and Access Management at General Motors. His responsibilities include leading implementations of Cloud Security solutions, Defining the Strategy and Roadmap of their IAM technology platforms, and ensuring the architectural quality of the many initiatives implementing their Zero Trust-based IAM strategy. He is also leading several initiatives that will enable the next generation of GM’s Customer Experiences that leverage Consumer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) technologies as the core element of the solution.

Drummond Reed

Director of Trust Services at Avast
Drummond Reed has spent over two decades working on Internet identity, security, privacy, and trust frameworks. Co-author of the book Self-Sovereign Identity, Drummond joined Avast as Director of Trust Services after Avast’s acquisition of Evernym, where he was Chief Trust Officer. Before Evernym, Drummond was the CEO of Respect Network and, previously, Executive Director of the Information Card Foundation and the Open Identity Exchange. Drummond has also served as a founding board member of the OpenID Foundation, ISTPA, XDI.org, and Identity Commons, as well as part of the Steering Committee for the Trust Over IP Foundation. In 2002 he was a recipient of the Digital Identity Pioneer Award from Digital ID World, and in 2013 he was honored as an OASIS Distinguished Contributor.

Husnain Bajwa

Head of Product Strategy, Beyond Identity
Husnain Bajwa serves as Head of Product Strategy for Beyond Identity. He has over 25 years of experience in large-scale networks, infrastructure platforms, and cybersecurity including supply chain and third party risk management. Previously, Husnain held technology leadership roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Aruba Networks, Ericsson, and BelAir Networks.
