Prior to TechVision, Gary was Head of Marketing, Communications Segment, at Neustar, a major real-time information services provider. During his tenure (2009–2014), he built a high-performance marketing organization for Neustar’s communications service provider portfolio, significantly growing the business beyond its traditional number portability role. His efforts resulted in $55 million in marketing-created opportunities, $48 million in marketing-influenced opportunities, and $21 million in opportunities won—delivering strong returns at less than 2% of company revenue. He also served as Senior Director, Marketing and later as Director of Solution Marketing, leading eMarketing, product marketing, and carrier service marketing efforts.
At Avotus
At Avotus Corporation, Gary served as Vice President – Solutions and Marketing (2002–2009), where he redesigned the delivery model for enterprise telecommunications expense management, evolving from a software-focused company to a business process outsourcing provider. As a core member of the executive team, he installed consultative selling, launched new services, and transformed customer relationships from transactional to advisory—closing the four largest deals in company history. New offerings under his leadership grew to represent more than half of the company’s $30 million in revenue.
