Todd Etchieson is Senior Director of Product for Akamai Identity Cloud (formerly Janrain) where he leads Product Management, Training, and Documentation. In addition to detection, investigation and response, ISP delivers Azure AD Identity Protection, Conditional Access, Multi-Factor-Authentication, and the Microsoft Authenticator app, as well as a host of enterprise and consumer account defense systems. Prior to his current role, Alex previously served in a variety of engineering and product management roles on products such as MSN, Visual Studio, Xbox, and Identity related products like Active Directory and Microsoft Identity Manager. Outside of work, Alex is passionate about interfacing with various humans, making stuff, sailing and music.

Andrew Nash

Managing Vice President of Identity Services; Capital One

Andrew Nash is the Managing Vice President of Identity Services at Capital One. He joined Capital One in 2018, following the company’s acquisition of Confyrm—a startup focused on developing leading edge identity fraud detection and alerting systems, including identity validation and contraindication mechanisms. Prior to founding Confyrm, Andrew developed consumer identity vetting and verified information systems as CTO for Trulioo. In this role, he investigated and developed alternative identity validation services for online establishment of real world identities. Formerly, Andrew was Director of Identity Services at Google, operating the largest consumer identity provider in the world at that time, managing over billion consumer and enterprise identities. As Senior Director of Consumer Identity at PayPal, he managed over 350 million identities validated for use in financial services, complying with US Banking, AML and anti- terrorist funding requirements. As Director of Technologies at RSA Security, Andrew worked on a wide range of identity and security systems. A leader in PKI and Web-Services markets, he has co-authored numerous Web Services security specifications and is author of a book on Public Key Infrastructure. Andrew was a founding board member at the OpenID Foundation, the Open Identity eXchange (OIX) and the Information Card Foundation. Joe Tellez

Chris led and managed two Gartner research teams covering Application Platform and Data Management coverage areas. The teams are responsible for delivering industry analysis, research, and strategic consulting to Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies. He also built Burton Group’s reference architecture in the application platform space.
While at Burton Group and Gartner Chris delivered strategy and roadmap consulting projects with a focus on Service Oriented Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, and application platform modernization. Clients include Exxon Mobil, Royal Dutch Shell, Liberty Mutual, New York Life, Target, Cargill, Department of Homeland Security, SPAWAR, Celesio, Vodofone, Siemens Networks, Nokia, and more.

Kurt Lieber

VP, CISO IT Infrastructure, Aetna

Kurt Lieber is responsible for Program Office, Identity & Access Management, IT Hygiene, eDiscovery, Adaptive Enablement and Third Party Risk Governance within Aetna’s Global Security team. Kurt has over 25 years of experience in Information Technology and Information Security across multiple industries including health care, retail and financial services. Kurt was formerly with Kaiser Permanente where he had responsibility for IAM as well as HIPAA remediation. Prior to Kaiser Permanente, Kurt worked for Target Corporation, where he was accountable for the company’s IT Security program and led the technology team responsible for their Payment Card Industry (PCI) program. Prior to Target, had roles with Goldman Sachs and Accenture.

Phil Windley

Chair of the Sovrin Foundation

Phil Windley is an Enterprise Architect in the Office of the CIO at Brigham Young University (BYU). A passionate tech educator, he is the chair of the Sovrin Foundation, the co-founder and organizer of the Internet Identity Workshop, serves as an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at BYU, writes the popular Technometria blog, and is the author of the books The Live Web (2011) and Digital Identity published (2005). Phil has been a computer science professor at BYU, founder and CTO of several hi-tech companies, and served as CIO for the State of Utah. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of California, Davis.
